First of the year!

Our first clean-up of 2012 will take place this Sunday, 29th January.
Following the winter floods the River Taff through Bute Park is looking pretty filthy! Its banks are festooned with litter which has been caught on overhanging branches  – so we needs LOTS of volunteers to help remove this eyesore. Hopefully, we can get enough people to split up into 4 teams and so tackle both sides of the river, both up, and downstream of the bridge.
Meeting point:         Footbridge over River Taff in Bute Park (Blackweir) – just look out for Dave’s purple truck
Meeting Time:         10am
Parking:           Pontcanna fields changing rooms (off Fields Park Rd) – just walk across playing fields to the river
As usual, we will provide equipment and insurance, and all waste will be collected by Cardiff County Council’s Parks Department. Just turn up in suitable clothing and footwear.

PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU ARE COMING ALONG so we can bring enough equipment
